Warranty

Warranty

Slot Machines are expensive and complicated machines. As a new buyer, it’s important to know that we stand behind the machine you’re buying and what’s covered and not covered. In addition to the warranty included with your machine, we give free tech support and help for as long as you, the original buyer, own the machine. We provide a 60-day warranty on the machine and the original parts it came with from the manufacturer, but there are some exceptions and limitations as outlined below. In order to receive a warranty with your game, you MUST attend the machine orientation and training session. If you opt out of the orientation, then the game is sold to “as-is” without any warranty.

Items covered by your warranty

~ The machine – This includes all of the original (OEM) parts in your machine unless listed as an exclusion below.

~ Machine OEM parts – OEM parts and components are defined as Items that came with the original machine, except parts excluded below, to include but not limited to – Reels, reel motors, bill validators, cashbox, cabinet, doors, printers, hinges, power supplies, power distribution modules, and the TITO unit (if you purchased one from us as an add-on to your game)

~ Labor – During your warranty period, any repair labor performed by STLSLOTS on non-damaged warranty covered parts and components is included with your game. If we’re working on your game, this means the game needs to be in our shop, not onsite. Parts can be sent in for testing and replacement, should that be required and should you wish to remove the part and send it to us. Should your game incur damage during transport, we are happy to help repair it but that labor would not be included.

Warranty Exclusions:

~ Coin-In/Out – Older machines (1995 & prior) may have coin-in/out capabilities. Any system related to the coin-in & out system is not covered under our warranty. We make every effort to make sure this all works in tip-top shape and will show you this during your demo and training session. However, we do not warranty these systems.

~ Screens – Due to the complexity and potential damage to screens during transport, we do not include screens in our warranty program. All screens, in any form, are excluded from our warranty. This includes any related parts to those screens like touch interfaces, screen power supplies, screen brackets, screen molding, and screens in buttons.

~ Buttons, Glass, Batteries, and LEDs – During your orientation, all buttons and LED lights are shown to you in the working condition we are selling the game to you. We designed our refurb process to allow for simple swaps of the LED bars in the top box and belly of S2000 machines, for example. Buttons and LEDs are wearable parts and may fail at any time due to the electronic nature of these devices. Many components can fail also fail due to transporting your game home, it just happens. With all of this in mind, Buttons, Button-Screens, machine glass, and any LEDs are not included with your warranty. Batteries are replaced as part of the refurbishment process but their life expectancy is always unknown, also excluded from any warranty. While we replace much of the lighting in your machine, LED lighting can fail due to temperature, surges, and other unforeseen factors. Any of the parts involved in lighting and related modifications, including but not limited to, transformers, LED bulbs, LED light bars, connectors, wiring for lighting are excluded.

~ Transport/Delivery – While we will try and connect you with local delivery companies to help transport your game to your home, we provide no warranty or guarantee against damage to your game from their transport services. We connect you with local delivery companies to help you get your game home, but the price and any guarantees, insurance, bond or other assurances they provide is between you, the buyer, and the delivery company. We are not affiliated and make no money from these companies. We are not responsible for any damage to your game once it leaves our shop, whether in your vehicle or with a transport/delivery company.

Warranty Conditions
Slot machines are complex machines. Tinkering and modifying them in any way will negate/invalidate your warranty. At least during the warranty period, we strongly suggest that you leave your machine as it was given to you, without modifications, alterations, or tweaks. While we’re happy to suggest, guide, and remotely assist as you own your game, it’s not part of any warranty and just done to help you out.

An orientation and a training demo is provided for free with any game purchases. Attendance at this orientation, by the actual purchaser, is required to validate and activate your warranty. Lack of attendance by the actual purchaser, for the demo/training, means that you’re buying the machine as-is without any warranty. Training on slot machine ownership is so important, that we make it a condition of our warranty.

Your Warranty includes lifetime help and tech support thru Facebook Messenger. It does not include any labor nor onsite repair. Shipping of any parts or the whole machine, in both directions, if required, is at the buyers responsibility. Most parts for these machines are pre-own/used and are often challenging to source. This is unintentional but is part of buying and owning a pre-owned commercial slot machine. Patience is required as parts are sourced and purchased. All shipping or delivery of parts is at the buyers expense. Original parts must be exchanged (sent first) before replacement parts are provided. All shipping expenses are to be paid for prior to items being shipped. Any parts that are ordered for you, must be paid for at the time of ordering. Pre-Owned parts can’t be guaranteed but we will make every attempt to test (if possible) prior to shipping.

Your warranty is for parts-only and does not guarantee your machine in any other way. There is no “loss of use” compensation included with your warranty.
